Infection Control

Methamphetamine Residue Remediation
Clandestine meth lab cleaning can be broken down into two legs of remediation, Bulk Decontamination and Residual Decontamination. Both of these types of contamination are covered by each of the regulatory arms of RCRA, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (1976), and CERCLA, the Comprehensive Emergency, Response, Compensation and Liability Act (1980).
Residual decontamination is the clean-up of the lab performed after bulk removal is complete. Due to the lack of Texas regulation or guideline assistance, USA Decon Austin adheres to the Colorado and North Carolina regulations and guidelines as well as RCRA and CERCLA requirements for the remediation of residual methamphetamine residue.
In addition to our residue remediation services, USA Decon Austin offers third-party lab testing to attest to the fitness of the environment.
Tear Gas
USA Decon Austin specializes in the treatment and removal of tear gas residue. Once tear gas has been introduced inside a structure, the gas dissipates and eventually settles into a reactive fine powder on all surfaces and remains in porous material.
USA Decon Austin will chemically treat this tear gas powder to neutralize its reactive effects and can remove the residue to restore the use of the environment.
